Cyber Resilience Act Workshop: Our Take from Madrid

Last week, Stijn Horemans represented Refracted Security in Madrid for the Cyber Resilience Act and Horizontal Standards workshop; a chance to dive deep into how Europe is shaping the future of cybersecurity.

What Was It About?

The focus was clear: horizontal standards under the CRA. These standards are key to making cybersecurity practical for businesses, especially SMEs. The big question? How do we make them usable in real life, not just on paper.

Why We’re Involved in the Cyber Resilience Act workshop

Being part of this consortium means we’re helping shape the rules that will guide European cybersecurity, for years to come. We’re sharing ideas, challenging assumptions, and learning from peers showed us one thing: resilience works best when we work together.

Looking Ahead

We’re excited to keep contributing to standards that protect, guide, and empower businesses of all sizes. Because cybersecurity is about compliant, but also building trust and enabling growth.

Follow Refracted Security for more updates on our role in CRA and shaping European cybersecurity standards.
